I’m a Freelance Photographer with 20+ years of experience. I’m passionate about photography and love to show people that photography is a true art form. My portfolio includes entertainment and concert photography (all talent on stage, including musicians and theatre), event coverage, commercial photography, portraiture, fine art, travel photography, and much more.
Although currently based in Huntsville, AL, I have clients in many states. I’m available for photo shoots regionally, nationally and globally. My photography has been featured in CDs, magazines, websites, advertisements, on billboards and promotional pieces for clients such as The Cleveland Cavaliers, Playhouse Square, Getty Images, The Deftones, Revolver Magazine, Cleveland Magazine, iHeartMedia, EMI, Fearless Records, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum, Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse (Quicken Loans Arena) and more. I also occasionally participate in art or gallery showings of my work.
My passion for the art began when I inherited my Grandpa’s SLR camera at age 14. My love for live music lead to an exciting start to my career as a concert and entertainment photographer while working at a camera store, as well as several concert venues. I was classically and technically trained, receiving a degree in photography and learning a great deal from other photographers and mentors. From there, I expanded into many other areas of photography and continue to enjoy a variety of subject matter.
I self-published two books featuring photographs taken in Greece and of Abandoned Buildings. The Greece book highlights a 2-week trip to Greece including the mainland and some island touring. The other book, “Abandoned” features photography from an “Abandoned” or “Left Behind” series I worked on for over a year. Included are images of abandoned buildings, places, objects, & more, from Ohio and beyond.
I use Nikon digital and analog (film) gear and a Fuji medium format camera, as well as a portable studio lighting system.
